Isandlwana Battlefield
The Zulu army triumphed over the powerful British army at this battle. The battlefield is proclaimed as a Provincial Landmark.

Shiyane / Rorkes Drift Battlefield
Following the Zulu victory at Isandlwana, a small group of British soldiers held out at Rorkes Drift, defeating a large Zulu Force. It resulted in the largest number of Victoria Crosses awarded for a single conflict.

Spioenkop Battlefield
On 23 January 1900, British troops made yet another attempt to free the town of Ladysmith, which was besieged by Boer forces. A bloody battle was fought on Spioenkop.

Kwadukuza: King Shaka Visitor Centre
Situated on the site of King Shaka’s grave, this center tells the story of life during the time of King Shaka.

Mgungundlovu Multimedia Centre
uMgungundlovu was the capital of the Zulu kingdom during the reign of King Dingane. It was occupied from 1829 until 1838. A state of the art multimedia center has been constructed here, in the heart of the Valley of Zulu Kings.
